About Gerflor vinyl
Gerflor is a French flooring maker that has been producing vinyl for over 80 years, and it is one of the most searched-for brands on our site for a simple reason: Gerflor Primetex is the sheet vinyl that works. It is what we recommend for rentals, laundries, kitchens and any room where you want a warm, easy-care floor without the cost of tiling.
Primetex comes in timber, stone and plain finishes on a cushioned backing, so it is comfortable underfoot and quiet in flats and units. Because it is sheet rather than plank, there are very few joins, which makes it a practical choice where spills are a daily event. Gerflor also makes commercial-grade vinyl and safety flooring that we supply for health, aged care and education projects through our commercial division.
Every Jupps showroom holds Primetex samples in the current colours. Bring in a cupboard door or a paint chip and we will find the match, or book a free measure and quote.
Gerflor also owns Kenbrock, the Australian vinyl plank and hybrid brand, which it acquired at the end of 2019. If you are after Gerflor quality in a plank format, the Kenbrock Craftmaster, Timeless Oak and SmartDrop Ultimate ranges are the ones to look at.

Frequently asked questions
Is Gerflor Primetex suitable for a rental property?
It is one of the most popular choices we sell for rentals. Sheet vinyl has minimal joins, is easy to clean, and is quick to replace between tenants if needed.
Can Gerflor vinyl be laid over existing tiles?
Often, yes, provided the tiles are sound and the grout lines are filled and levelled first. Our installers assess the subfloor as part of the free measure and quote.
Is Gerflor vinyl water resistant?
Yes. Sheet vinyl is water resistant and handles everyday spills and mopping without harm, which is why it is so widely used in kitchens and laundries. Standing water should still be wiped up rather than left.
Do you stock Gerflor in regional WA?
Yes. Geraldton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Exmouth and Busselton all carry Gerflor samples, and orders are delivered to the store for installation by the local team.
