Spotted Gum look floors across hybrid, vinyl, laminate and timber

Rich, varied and unmistakably Australian
Spotted Gum is the richer, more varied cousin of Blackbutt: mid brown with chocolate, caramel and grey tones running through each board, and the distinctive wavy grain that gives the species its name. It brings warmth and character to large open plan spaces and hides everyday marks better than paler floors. This page brings together every Spotted Gum look floor Jupps stocks across hybrid, vinyl plank, laminate and engineered timber.
- Caramel to deep chocolate
- Wavy, varied grain

FAQs
What colour is Spotted Gum flooring?
Spotted Gum runs from light brown and caramel through to deep chocolate, often within the one board, with a wavy, slightly interlocked grain. It reads warmer and darker than Blackbutt and suits large rooms, darker joinery and rustic or coastal schemes alike.
Does Spotted Gum look good in a small room?
It can, in a lighter variant such as a blonde or coastal Spotted Gum look. In a small or dim room the mid to dark boards will make the space feel cosier rather than larger; pair them with light walls and plenty of natural light.
Spotted Gum hybrid, vinyl, laminate or engineered?
Hybrid for the busiest living areas, vinyl plank for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, laminate for bedrooms, engineered timber where real wood matters. All four are on this page; filter by room and thickness to narrow it down.
