About pool tiles
A pool has three tiling jobs. The interior and waterline, where glass or fully vitrified porcelain mosaics handle constant immersion and pool chemistry; the coping, the edge you sit and climb on, which needs a rounded or drop-face 20mm paver; and the surround, which has to stay safe when wet. The ranges on this page cover all three, and every surround tile carries a P4 or R11 slip rating.
For interiors, Jadidi Mosaic GP glass mosaics come in four pool blues and greens, MaxGlory Magma is a porcelain pool tile in eight colours, and the small-format APE Pierre de Bali, Deep Blue Oxid and Hijau Green give the Bali-villa look. For coping and surrounds, the outdoor tiles and 20mm pavers page has the matching ranges, led by Cotto d’Este Limestone.
Pool tiling in the Pilbara and Mid West means salt, sun and hard water, so we will tell you which glazes and grouts hold up. Bring your pool plans or a photo into a Jupps tile showroom, or send them through for a supply quote.

Frequently asked questions
What tiles can go inside a swimming pool?
Glass mosaics and fully vitrified porcelain rated for immersion. Standard wall or floor tiles are not suitable. Jadidi Mosaic GP, MaxGlory Magma and the APE 150×150 ranges on this page are all pool-rated.
What slip rating do I need around a pool?
P4 or R11 for the surround and coping, which are walked on barefoot while wet. P3 or R10 is acceptable for covered alfresco areas away from the water.
Do these tiles suit salt and mineral pools?
Yes. Glass and porcelain do not react with salt or mineral systems. Use a pool-grade epoxy or cement grout as recommended by the tiler.
Can I get matching coping and surround tiles?
Yes. Cotto d’Este Limestone and other 20mm pavers on the outdoor tiles page come in bullnose and drop-edge coping formats with a matching surround tile.
