About timber look tiles
Timber look porcelain gives you the grain and warmth of a wood floor in rooms where timber will not last: bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and alfrescos. It does not swell, scratch or fade, it copes with wet dogs and sand, and it runs from inside to the deck in the same colour. The plank formats have also grown: 200×1200 and 150×900 planks lay like real boards, and several ranges come in herringbone and chevron pieces.
The palette runs from pale Scandinavian oaks (Flaviker Nordik Wood, Panaria Nuance) through mid-tone European oaks (ABK Eco Chic, Piemme Fleur de Bois) to Australian species and darker tones in the existing MaxGlory, Marazzi and Portobello ranges. For outdoors, MaxGlory Entice on the outdoor page is the decking-plank option.
Timber looks are most convincing when the plank is long and the print varies across many faces, so ask to see several pieces side by side. Order samples through your nearest Jupps tile showroom, or send us the rooms and sizes for a supply quote.

Frequently asked questions
Can timber look tiles go in a bathroom?
Yes, and it is one of the best uses. Choose a matt finish with a P3 or R10 rating for the floor; the wall can be the same tile in any finish.
Do timber look tiles look fake?
The good ones do not. Look for long plank formats, a matt or structured finish and a high number of different faces per colour. Seeing several pieces together in the showroom is the only real test.
Can I lay timber look tiles in herringbone?
Yes. Several ranges come in herringbone or chevron pieces, and standard planks can be laid in a herringbone pattern by the tiler.
Are timber look tiles suitable outdoors?
Ranges with an external finish are. MaxGlory Entice on the outdoor tiles page is designed for decks and alfrescos, and Panaria Nuance and Flaviker Nordik Wood have external options.
