About Sunteca blinds
Sunteca (WA) Pty Ltd is a family owned Western Australian company that has been manufacturing blinds, awnings, shutters, doors and screens since 1973, and wholesaling to retailers such as Jupps since 1991. Everything is made at its factory in Canning Vale, Perth, with fabrics and components chosen for WA sun, wind and salt air. They are the blinds we recommend when you want a clean, simple window covering that stands up to daily use without fuss.
Roller blinds come in blockout, translucent and sheer fabrics with double roller, cassette and boxed pelmet options, and the Shaw Vibe blockout range in 36 colours. Vertical blinds remain the practical option for sliding doors and large openings. Curtains and sheers are made to measure in S-Wave, blockout, double and pinch pleat styles on European-designed tracks, and outdoor blinds and awnings turn a patio or alfresco into a usable room through summer.
Jupps measures and installs all Sunteca blinds and curtains. Bring a window measurement or a photo and we can give you a rough price on the spot, or book a free measure and quote.

Frequently asked questions
Are Sunteca blinds made in Australia?
Yes. Sunteca (WA) Pty Ltd is a family owned Western Australian company that has made blinds, awnings, shutters, doors and screens since 1973. Everything Jupps sells from Sunteca is made at its factory in Canning Vale, Perth.
Which Sunteca blind is best for a bedroom?
A blockout roller blind. The Shaw Vibe blockout fabric, exclusive to Sunteca, comes in 36 colours, and the cassette system with side guides and an enclosed headbox gives a true blackout for a media room.
Which Sunteca blind is best for a sliding door?
Vertical blinds. They stack neatly to one side and are easy to walk through, which is why they remain the most popular choice for sliding doors. S-Wave sheer curtains on a track are the softer alternative.
Does Sunteca make curtains?
Yes. Sunteca makes S-Wave sheer, blockout, double and pinch pleat curtains to measure on European-designed tracks, with eight wide-width fabrics that are all fire tested to AS 1530.3.
Can outdoor blinds handle WA wind?
Sunteca ShadeTrack blinds and awnings are built for coastal conditions with T6 aluminium, marine-grade components and stainless fixings, and we recommend the right fixing and fabric for an exposed site at the measure. They are shade products, so Sunteca advises raising them in strong winds.
Do you install Sunteca blinds in regional WA?
Yes, through every Jupps store: Ocean Keys, Busselton, Geraldton, Karratha, Port Hedland and Exmouth.
