LRV (Light Reflectance Value) measures how much light a floor reflects, from 0 to 100. Higher LRV colours like Chardonnay Oak (41.31) brighten a room, while lower LRV colours like Cocoa Oak (7.31) create a moodier, more dramatic feel.
Franklin Tassie Oak, Somerset Blackbutt, Blackbutt Traditional, Tasmanian Hardwood Classic and Spotted Gum Traditional feature strong colour variation, meaning plank-to-plank differences in tone and grain are an intentional part of the natural timber look. Variations can also occur between samples, photos and production batches.
Kingswood 1.5 features a water resistant surface designed to handle everyday household spills, making it suitable throughout the home including kitchens. While hybrid flooring offers excellent water resistance, no floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points. Spills should be cleaned promptly and installation should be completed in accordance with Armstrong guidelines.

Kingswood 1.2 offers a 6mm construction with a 0.3mm wear layer at a sharper price point with a 15 year warranty. Both share the same click installation and Australian-led colour direction.
Yes, as a floating click-together hybrid it can be installed over most existing hard surfaces, including tiles, timber and concrete, provided the subfloor is flat, dry and properly prepared in line with the current Armstrong installation guide.
