LRV (Light Reflectance Value) measures how much light a floor reflects, from 0 to 100. Higher LRV colours like Linen Gum (45.36) brighten a room, while lower LRV colours like Ancient Hardwood (13.28) create a moodier, more dramatic feel.
Linen Gum, Southern Blackbutt, Salted Gum, Rose Gum and Ancient Hardwood feature strong colour variation, meaning plank-to-plank differences in tone and grain are an intentional part of the natural timber look. Variations can also occur between samples, photos and production batches.
Longplank is designed to withstand everyday household spills and moisture, making it suitable for a wide range of residential and light commercial environments. While the product offers excellent water resistance, no floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points. Spills should be cleaned promptly and installation should be completed in accordance with Armstrong guidelines.
