Avenue is a textured tufted loop pile carpet from EC Carpets, made in Australia in 100% BCF solution dyed nylon. The range has been refreshed with ten new colours: the creams and beiges of Bellcroft, Wetherby and Corwick, the soft greiges of Norwell, Roseford and Denton, the greys of Loxley and Lindford, deep charcoal Cudmore and olive brown Brantham.
The fine geometric loop gives Avenue the organic look of a natural fibre with the practicality of nylon. Colour is locked into the fibre when it is made, so it resists staining and fading, and the textured surface conceals everyday soiling and tracking. An 847 g/m2 (25 oz) pile puts it in the Extra Heavy Duty residential class including stairs, with a Medium Duty contract rating for light commercial use, backed by 15 year residential wear and colourfast warranties and a lifetime anti-static warranty.

Yes. Avenue carries the Extra Heavy Duty residential grading from the Australian Carpet Classification Scheme, which covers stairs and the busiest areas of the home, and a Medium Duty contract rating for light commercial spaces such as home offices and small retail areas.
With solution dyed fibre the colour is added while the yarn is being made rather than dyed on afterwards, so it cannot be washed or bleached out and most household spills clean up with water and a mild detergent. EC Carpets rates Avenue as pet friendly, and the textured loop helps hide soiling between cleans.
