Groutable vinyl tiles are installed with a small gap between tiles which is then filled with a flexible grout, exactly like ceramic tiling. The result looks convincingly like a tiled floor while keeping vinyl benefits: warmer underfoot, quieter, more forgiving of dropped items and simpler to keep clean. Yes, subject to proper installation. Aquila Stone has a water resistant surface and is direct stuck to the subfloor, which suits bathrooms, laundries and kitchens. No floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins and edges, so installation to Godfrey Hirst guidelines and prompt clean up of spills remain important.
