The format. Metropol 1200 uses a 1200mm x 182mm board in a 6mm profile, while Metropol 1500 steps up to a longer, wider 1500mm x 228mm board in a thicker profile with a heavier wear layer. The larger format suits open plan spaces where fewer joins matter; the 1200 format is the value pick for bedrooms, rentals and whole of home coverage.
Yes. The hybrid construction is dimensionally stable, the wear layer resists everyday scratching and scuffing, and the water resistant surface handles the spills of daily life. As with all hard floors, no product should be regarded as completely waterproof, so spills should be cleaned promptly and installation completed to Godfrey Hirst guidelines.
