The palette of twelve colourways runs from pale Sandy Oak and Seed Pearl through golden Flooded Gum and Southern Blackbutt to deep Coal.
Under the surface sits a heavier specification than most mid range hybrids: a 0.5mm wear layer, Trigon Core limestone composite stability, a 1.5mm EVA acoustic backing and a PUR scratch resistant coating, with Uniclic click installation and a twenty five year residential warranty. Yes. Nautical 1500 has a water resistant surface and a moisture stable limestone composite core, making it well suited to kitchens, laundries and open plan living. As with any hard floor, no product should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points, so spills should be cleaned promptly and installation completed to Godfrey Hirst guidelines.
It sits in the strong middle of the family. The 0.5mm wear layer is a step up from entry level hybrids, the 1.5mm EVA backing improves comfort and acoustics, and the 1500mm board length means fewer joins than a standard plank. Above it, Zenith 1800 adds a larger board and premium construction; alongside it, Apollo offers a 1220mm format. Jupps can show all three together in the showroom.
