Godfrey Hirst – Riviera Carpet
Riviera is Godfrey Hirst’s economical loop pile carpet, and it is the range we point people to when the budget is tight but the floor still has to look good and last. It is made from 100% polypropylene with a high-low loop that gives the surface a textured, tailored look and hides footprints and vacuum marks better than a plain cut pile.
Because polypropylene is solution dyed, the colour runs right through the fibre, so Riviera holds up well to sunlight and cleaning. It is a sound choice for a first home, a rental or an investment property, and for rooms like home offices and rumpus rooms where you want something practical underfoot. The 13 colours run from pale coastal greys through stone and taupe to charcoal, so it sits comfortably with most paint schemes.
Riviera is held in stock at Jupps, which means shorter lead times than most made-to-order ranges. See the full colour set in any of our showrooms across Perth and regional WA, or book a free measure and quote and we will bring the samples to you.

FAQs
Is Riviera carpet good for a rental property?
Yes. Riviera is one of the most popular carpets we install in rentals. It is solution dyed polypropylene, so it resists staining and fading, and the loop texture hides wear well between tenancies.
What is the difference between loop pile and cut pile carpet?
Loop pile carpet like Riviera keeps the yarn in continuous loops, which gives a firmer, more tailored surface that hides footprints. Cut pile carpets such as Timeless or Supreme Touch have the loops sheared, which makes them softer and plusher underfoot.
Is Riviera suitable for stairs?
Riviera is a practical, hard-wearing loop pile and is commonly used on stairs and in hallways. Ask the showroom team to confirm the current rating for your job.
Where can I see Riviera in Perth or regional WA?
Every Jupps showroom carries Riviera samples: Ocean Keys, Busselton, Geraldton, Karratha, Port Hedland and Exmouth. Because it is held in stock, we can usually install sooner than made-to-order ranges.
