FAQs
What colours does Supreme Touch come in?
Supreme Touch is available in 14 tonal colourways: Mushroom Stipple, Chestnut, Boulder Stipple, Fawn, Sand Dune, Quartz, Stoneware, Fog, Abalone, Silverado, Concrete, Beacon, Winter Grey and Dark Mood, ranging from light sandy neutrals through to deep charcoal tones.
What is Supreme Touch carpet made from?
Supreme Touch is made from 100% solution dyed nylon. Solution dyeing locks colour into the core of the fibre before it's spun into yarn, giving the carpet strong, long-term colourfastness and resistance to fading.
What does 'cut pile twist' mean?
Cut pile twist describes a construction where individual fibres are twisted together and heat-set, then cut to an even finish. This creates a dense, textured surface that hides footprints and vacuum marks better than a plain cut pile.
Is Supreme Touch suitable for stairs?
Yes. Supreme Touch carries a Residential Extra Heavy Duty 6 Star rating and is specifically rated for use on stairs, making it a suitable choice for staircases as well as high-traffic areas like hallways and living rooms.
What's the difference between Supreme Touch and Silk Indulgence?
Both are solution dyed nylon, cut pile twist carpets from Godfrey Hirst, but Supreme Touch is part of Godfrey Hirst's Luxury Collection with a 6 Star Extra Heavy Duty rating that covers stairs, while Silk Indulgence is a residential broadloom carpet with a notably heavy 60oz pile weight. Supreme Touch suits busy, high-traffic homes including stairwells, while Silk Indulgence is built for a deep, plush feel in bedrooms and living areas.
Is Supreme Touch stain resistant?
Supreme Touch includes built-in Stain Block stain resistance as part of its fibre treatment, helping it resist everyday spills and stains. Spills should still be blotted promptly for the best results.
How is Supreme Touch installed?
Supreme Touch is conventionally laid, meaning it's stretched and fitted over underlay by a professional installer.
How long is the warranty on Supreme Touch?
Supreme Touch comes with a 15 Year Premium Limited Residential Guarantee from Godfrey Hirst. Full terms and conditions are available from the manufacturer.
How do I clean and maintain Supreme Touch?
Regular vacuuming is the most important part of maintaining Supreme Touch, particularly in high-traffic areas. Blot spills promptly rather than rubbing them, and have the carpet professionally steam cleaned periodically to remove deeply settled soil.
