What does heathered mean in a carpet yarn?
A heathered yarn blends several closely related colour tones into a single strand rather than using one flat colour. Up close you can see the variation, and from standing height it reads as a single richer tone with more depth. It also disguises minor soiling and traffic marks better than a solid colour.
Is pure wool practical in a commercial setting?
It is, in the right setting. Wool recovers from compression well, absorbs sound, and performs strongly on fire and indoor air quality measures.
