Marazzi Vero – Timber Look Porcelain Tiles
Vero by Marazzi is an oak-inspired porcelain tile that captures the grain, tone and tactility of real timber with remarkable fidelity. Available in two oak colourways, warmer Rovere and softer Quercia, in a generous 200mm x 1200mm plank.
What sets Vero apart is the matching chevron format. The 110mm x 540mm chevron pieces let you create a genuine chevron or herringbone feature floor in porcelain, giving you the look of a parquet timber floor with the water resistance and hard-wearing surface of a tile. Ideal for kitchens, living areas and bathrooms where timber would not be practical.

What colours and formats does Vero come in?
Vero is available in two oak colourways, Rovere and Quercia, each offered as a 200mm x 1200mm plank and as a 110mm x 540mm chevron piece for feature laying.
Can Vero be laid in a herringbone or chevron pattern?
Yes. Vero includes dedicated chevron-cut pieces in both colourways, so you can create a true chevron feature floor rather than approximating one with rectangular planks. The 200mm x 1200mm planks can also be laid in a herringbone pattern. Our team can help plan the setout and calculate quantities, as pattern laying uses more material than straight laying.
Why choose timber look porcelain over real timber?
Porcelain gives you the appearance of oak with none of timber’s vulnerability to water, scratching or humidity. That makes it well suited to kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and homes near the coast, where a real timber floor would need far more care. It is also harder wearing underfoot and needs no recoating over its life.
What does V2 shade variation mean?
V2 indicates slight variation between tiles. There will be subtle differences in tone and grain from piece to piece, which is intentional and contributes to the natural timber appearance. We recommend viewing several tiles together, and laying from multiple boxes during installation, to distribute the variation evenly.
What is the difference between rectified and non-rectified edges?
Rectified tiles are mechanically cut after firing to a precise size, allowing very narrow grout joins and a near-seamless look. Non-rectified tiles have a slightly softer edge and need a marginally wider join. Both are available in Vero, and our team can advise which suits your space and installer.
