NFD Eternity Engineered Timber Flooring
Eternity by NFD is premium European oak engineered timber: a substantial 3mm real oak wear layer over a 14mm build, finished with nine coats of German technology coating and a brushed surface. Ten colours run from crisp Celtic Snow and Blonde Oak through warm Cashew and Chestnut to deep Chocolate Oak.
That 3mm wear layer is the thickest engineered timber veneer we carry, which means Eternity can be sanded and recoated more than once across its life. Wide 190mm x 1900mm boards install with a 5G click system.

What colours does NFD Eternity come in?
NFD Eternity is available in 10 colours: Celtic Snow 801, Blonde Oak 808, Beachwood 811, Haven 807, Cashew Oak 803, Natural Oak 806, Fawn Oak 805, River Oak 802, Chestnut 804, Chocolate Oak 809. As real timber, natural variation in grain and tone between boards, samples and photographs is part of its character.
Why does the 3mm wear layer matter?
The wear layer is the genuine hardwood surface above the engineered core. At 3mm, Eternity has the thickest veneer of any engineered timber we carry, which means the floor can be sanded and recoated multiple times over its life rather than replaced. It is the main reason premium engineered timber outlasts thinner alternatives.
How does Eternity compare to NFD Daintree and Scenic Rim?
All three are NFD engineered timber. Eternity is the premium tier: European oak with a 3mm veneer, 14mm build and nine-coat German coating. Daintree features Australian natives, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum and Tasmanian Oak, with a 2mm veneer at 15mm. Scenic Rim is European oak with a 1.2mm veneer at 12mm, offering the oak look at a sharper entry point.
Is engineered timber suitable for wet areas?
Eternity is real timber, so it should be treated like any quality wood floor: wipe up spills promptly and maintain a stable indoor environment. Engineered construction is significantly more dimensionally stable than solid timber, but timber floors are not recommended for bathrooms, laundries or other wet areas.
