Illusions by NFD is a 5mm luxury vinyl plank with fibreglass reinforcement and a 0.5mm wear layer, made in Korea. Twelve colours run from soft Natural Pearl and Aspen through warm Cinnamon Oak and Dune to Australian natives in Blackbutt, Grey Gum and both Native and NSW Spotted Gum, finishing with rich Mahogany and dramatic Ambush.
The narrower 177.8mm board suits smaller rooms and traditional interiors where wide planks can overwhelm the space, and fibreglass reinforcement keeps the floor dimensionally stable through temperature changes.

Illusions is designed to withstand everyday household spills and moisture, making it suitable throughout the home including kitchens. While vinyl plank offers excellent water resistance, no floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points. Spills should be cleaned promptly and installation should be completed in accordance with NFD guidelines.
At 177.8mm, Illusions boards are narrower than most contemporary vinyl planks. Narrower boards suit smaller rooms, hallways and traditional or period interiors, where very wide planks can visually overwhelm the space. More boards across the floor also reads as a more classic timber-floor proportion.
A fibreglass layer through the plank improves dimensional stability, helping the floor resist expansion, contraction and curling as temperatures change. It is particularly useful in rooms with large windows or significant seasonal temperature swings.
