Luxe Grain by NFD is a wide-format laminate available in two gauges, 8mm and 12mm, sharing one ten-colour palette. Generous 234mm x 1515mm boards carry an ultra matte finish across European and American oaks, plus Australian natives in Ghost Gum, Feature Blackbutt and both Queensland and Southern Spotted Gum.
The 8mm gauge carries an AC4 wear rating suited to busy family homes, while the 12mm gauge offers a more substantial board underfoot. Both install with Uniclic as a floating floor over most existing hard surfaces.

NFD Luxe Grain is available in 10 colours shared across both gauges: Natural Oak, Ashen Oak, Ghost Gum, French Oak, American Oak, Majestic Oak, Valley Oak, Feature Blackbutt, QLD Spotted Gum, Southern Spotted Gum.
The colour palette and 234mm x 1515mm board size are identical; the thickness differs. The 8mm gauge carries an AC4 wear rating and suits most family homes at a sharper price point, while the 12mm gauge gives a more substantial, solid feel underfoot. Our team can compare samples in store.
AC ratings measure laminate surface durability. AC4 withstands heavy residential traffic and light commercial use, making it well suited to hallways, living areas and busy family homes.
Luxe Grain features a laminate surface designed to handle everyday household spills when cleaned promptly. While modern laminate offers good water resistance, no floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points. Installation should be completed in accordance with current NFD guidelines.
Both are Uniclic laminates. Luxe Grain uses a wider 234mm board and is available in 8mm and 12mm gauges with an ultra matte finish. Kalara is an 8mm laminate on a narrower 197mm board with a matte finish. Wider boards suit larger open-plan rooms; narrower boards read as more traditional.
