Is NFD Spellbound waterproof?
Spellbound is designed to withstand everyday household spills and moisture, making it suitable throughout the home including kitchens. While vinyl plank offers excellent water resistance, no floor should be regarded as completely waterproof, as water can enter through joins, edges and other installation points. Spills should be cleaned promptly and installation should be completed in accordance with NFD guidelines.
What is the difference between glue-down vinyl and hybrid flooring?
Glue-down vinyl planks like Spellbound are adhered directly to the subfloor, creating a very stable, quiet floor with a low 3mm profile. Hybrid ranges such as NFD Bespoke or Oakridge have a rigid core and click together as a floating floor over the existing surface. Glue down suits renovations with height constraints and commercial spaces with rolling loads; hybrid suits faster installation over existing hard floors.
