Quest Carpets – Autumn Encounter Carpet

Autumn Encounter is Quest Carpets' easy care, low profile cut pile twist, made in 100% solution dyed soft polyester. It comes in the same nine coastal colours as Spring Cove, from crisp Surf and creamy Beach and Salty through taupe Sand Bar and the greys of Fresh, Alcove and Marina to deep charcoal Waves and Oceanside, so it sits comfortably with white walls, timber and stone.

At 816 g/m2 (24 oz) with a 6mm pile, Autumn Encounter is the lighter, more affordable twist in the Quest family. The short, tight pile keeps a neat surface that resists footprints and vacuum marks, and because the colour is locked into the fibre when it is made, it resists staining and fading and cleans up easily. It is rated Residential Heavy Duty including stairs and carries a 7 year residential wear warranty, which makes it a sensible choice for rentals, first homes and busy family rooms on a budget.

Autumn Encounter is available through every Jupps Floor Coverings showroom in Perth and regional WA, and every colour can be viewed as a sample in store.

FAQs

What colours does Quest Autumn Encounter come in?

Autumn Encounter comes in nine colours: Surf, Beach, Salty, Sand Bar, Fresh, Alcove, Marina, Waves and Oceanside. Each has its own page above with a large swatch, and every colour can be seen as a physical sample at your local Jupps showroom.

What is the difference between Autumn Encounter and Spring Cove?

Both are Quest cut pile twists in solution dyed soft polyester and share the same nine colours. Autumn Encounter is the lighter of the two at 816 g/m2 with a 6mm pile and a 7 year wear warranty, which makes it the more affordable option. Spring Cove steps up to 1360 g/m2, a 10mm pile and a 10 year warranty for more body underfoot. Ask your Jupps consultant to feel both side by side.

Is Autumn Encounter suitable for stairs and hallways?

Yes. Autumn Encounter is graded Residential Heavy Duty including stairs, so it can be used throughout the home including the busiest traffic areas.

How does solution dyed polyester handle stains?

With solution dyed fibre the colour is added while the yarn is being made rather than dyed on afterwards, so it cannot be washed or bleached out. Autumn Encounter is rated Excellent for stain resistance, and most household spills clean up with water and a mild detergent.

Is Autumn Encounter a good carpet for a rental?

It is one of the better choices. The low pile is quick to vacuum, the solution dyed fibre stands up to tenant spills and cleaning, the heavy duty grading suits high traffic, and the price point makes it easy to justify replacing between tenancies if needed.

Is Quest Autumn Encounter available in Perth and regional WA?

Yes. Autumn Encounter is available through every Jupps Floor Coverings showroom, including Ocean Keys (Clarkson) in Perth and our regional stores in Busselton, Geraldton, Karratha, Port Hedland and Exmouth, with free measure and quote, supply and professional installation.
