Albany Health Campus – Commercial Flooring Installation

Jupps Floorcoverings delivered a comprehensive commercial flooring package across key clinical and public areas of the Albany Health Campus, supplying and installing a mix of resilient and timber-look finishes designed specifically for healthcare environments.

The project incorporated:

• Homogeneous & safety vinyl sheet flooring throughout corridors, nurses’ stations, treatment rooms, and operating areas — heat-welded for seamless hygiene, slip resistance, and ease of cleaning.

• Feature vinyl zones in reception and workstation areas to define spaces and assist with wayfinding, using contrasting colours for visual clarity and workflow guidance.

• Timber-look luxury vinyl planks (LVT) in selected patient and recovery spaces to introduce warmth and comfort while maintaining hospital-grade durability.

• Coved skirtings and welded joins to support infection control requirements and long-term maintenance.

• Transitions and detailing carefully executed between clinical vinyl and feature flooring to ensure smooth movement of beds, trolleys, and equipment.

Installation was staged to align with construction sequencing and operational requirements, with close coordination between trades to minimise disruption. Subfloors were mechanically prepared and moisture-managed prior to installation to ensure performance compliance and longevity.

The result is a clean, modern healthcare interior that balances safety, durability, and patient comfort, delivering practical flooring solutions suited to high-traffic clinical environments while maintaining a welcoming aesthetic across public-facing areas.
