We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Parker Point DPR Building project in Karratha, Western Australia, a standout example of our expertise in delivering high-performance commercial flooring solutions for complex environments.

This project required a balance of durability, design, and compliance, ensuring the building met the strict performance demands of heavy-use commercial spaces while maintaining a modern, professional aesthetic. Our team worked closely with stakeholders to deliver a flooring package that combined resilient floorcoverings, carpet tiles, ceramics & entry matting  tailored to the site’s functional and design requirements.

Resilient Floorcoverings

To provide a robust, low-maintenance solution suitable for high-traffic areas, we installed a range of Forbo commercial vinyl products including Sphera Essence Cotta 50517, Sarlon Grey Silver Oak, and Eternal Material Beton Concrete 13022. These selections offered a seamless, hygienic surface with outstanding wear resistance, perfect for busy operational spaces. In addition, Tarkett Wallguard in White was used for wall protection, ensuring long-term durability and easy maintenance.

Carpet Tile Solutions

For spaces requiring both comfort and acoustic performance, the specified Shaw Contract carpet tiles in various designs, including Endless Tile Coral, Transform Color Fragile Coral, Transform Untamed, and Vertical Layers Oxidized Iron. These products were chosen for their modular flexibility, stain resistance, and modern texture, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics across office and breakout areas. The entry zones were fitted with ABS C/S Pediluxe entrance matting, featuring aluminium strips with a 9305 Espresso mono tuft HD carpet insert, providing an effective dirt and moisture barrier to protect the interior finishes.

Ceramic Tile Installation

The wet and amenity areas were completed with a selection of Metz porcelain and ceramic tiles, combining style with resilience. The Arcade Red 75x300mm floor tile was paired with Ardex Epoxy Grout Charred Ash for maximum durability, while the Gloss White 300x600mm large-format wall tile was finished with Mapei Anthracite 114 Grout to achieve a clean, contemporary look. For the vanity walls, the Metz Columbia Petrolio tile was installed in a vertical stack format using Mapei Terracotta 143 Grout, delivering a bold, architectural finish.
