Project: Red Earth Arts Precinct
Location: Karratha
Project completion: June 2018
Cost to build: $56 Million
Architect: Peter Hunt
Builder: Doric

Right in the heart of Karratha is the Red Earth Arts Precinct, a facility whose purpose is to be a home for arts and culture. Within the venue, you will find Karratha Library, a 476 seat theatre that can also operate as a cinema or a flat floor hall, an outdoor rooftop terrace which can also be used as an outdoor cinema or amphitheater, two rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms and art spaces within the foyers. Hospitality areas are located on both floors.

Architecturally this building is one of a kind, reflecting the Karratha hills that overlook it – a statement piece as you enter Karratha. Technologically the precinct exceeds expectations, providing the same systems and equipment you would find in a much larger metropolitan area.

Jupps Floorcoverings has had the pleasure to facilitate the installation of the floorings throughout the venue and is proud to have taken part in such project.
